We had to go to the emergency vet today and she’s all okay now but it freaked me out a lot taking her by myself. I skipped class because I didn’t think I could hold it together. She’s 15 now and I’m really trying to be normal and calm but I don’t like thinking about these things
Bit of a more serious post today but I’ve been thinking about it all day (and she’s been napping beside me to keep me company anyway haha)

I’ve been keeping an eye on her since and she seems to be okay. She even ate and drank before she went into her carrier! She’s a tough little girl :’)

One thing I hate about my uni’s atmosphere lately is that the last few weeks there has been all these conservatives setting up places on campus to debate with students and “preach about the Bible” but they literally have hate speech and flyers up each time(last week they had transphobia and Islamophobia stuff up) it’s so much of a mess like yesterday outside the library this guy was being very homophobic to a large group and they won’t ever listen to anyone else’s point of view so the same thing continues over and over 😭
This has happened over the last few years with those people coming but it’s been so much more prominent lately because midterms are coming up. Which btw early voting started yesterday 💙

They’re not students but they come with conservative or Christian organizations(or it’s campus preachers sometimes). From one class I took we talked about it but we can’t keep them from being on campus because it’s a public university and also cause of freedom of speech but they are usually so annoying and hateful. And the fact they always have microphones too and take up the most busy areas of campus

Getting back to playing. it's a bit hard relearning everything, but i love sweating it out. Also slowly getting back to watching pro matches and all. love getting back into it

As a gay tennis fan here, I'm very interested in this guy Mika Brunold who has just won two Challenger 100 titles out of this season, do you guys think he gonna be a big thing and entering Top 100 soon? I really dying to see an openly out guy on the mainstream ATP Tour!

Mika is really cool! His first challenger title was against João Reis da Silva in the first ever final between two openly gay men. He thanked João in his speech for giving him the courage to come out which was amazing. I really hope he hits the top 100 (João seems lovely but I don’t think he has the tennis for it) and that more men feel comfortable coming out!

It's a good sign that the challengers he won are in very different conditions (clay and indoor hard). He's pretty young and has been steadily rising in the ranks so if he stays fit I think he could definitely break into the top 100
